[Actual vehicle guide]
-The EF210 type 300s is an electric locomotive that JR Freight started operating in 2013, and appeared with detailed specifications changed based on the conventional EF210 type 100s.
- Initially, it was placed as a rear auxiliary machine between Seno and Hachihonmatsu on the Sanyo Main Line, which is a difficult place with a steep slope, for the purpose of replacing the EF67 type electric locomotive.
-For that reason, it is equipped with shock absorbers on both ends that are larger than the base EF210 series 100 series, and the underframe part is also extended.
- It is also designed to be used as a regular machine, and as of 2022, it is expanding its field of activity to the Kanto area.
