-Since its introduction, only 2-car trains were manufactured and introduced, including vehicles owned by Sendai Airport Railway and Aoimori Railway, but in 2017, a new 4-car fixed train No. 1000 appeared.
-The biggest feature of the E721 series is that the middle car was manufactured for the first time, and it has a front and rear asymmetric body structure that conforms to the dimensions of the leading car, so the position of the passenger door is different from when multiple two-car fixed formations are connected.
