- The Mirage IV is a supersonic strategic bomber/reconnaissance aircraft originally developed by Dassault in France as a dedicated nuclear attack aircraft.
-A test aircraft was produced in the 1950s, and the production type A type first flew in 1963, and delivery to the French Air Force began in 1964, with a total of 62 Mirage IVAs forming 9 bombing squadrons in France. It played a part in the nuclear force.
- In 1996, the Mirage 2000N took over the nuclear weapons operation mission, and after being assigned to a strategic reconnaissance mission due to its high speed and large combat action radius, all aircraft were retired in 2005.
