- The Elephant is a German heavy tank destroyer of World War II, with a long barrel 71 caliber 8.8cm gun and heavy armor reaching up to 200mm.
- Developed by Dr. Porsche for the Tiger tank, the body that was rejected in a competitive prototype with Henschel has a new fixed battle compartment and is equipped with a PaK43/271 caliber 8.8 cm tank gun.
- Above all, it was characterized by adopting a drive system with a unique mechanism called an engine power generation motor drive system.
- 90 cars were built from March to May 1943 using the chassis prepared at the time of the competition prototype.
-It was immediately put into the Kursk ship that was held between the Soviet Union in July and demonstrated its power.
