[About actual car]
-The Jagdtiger is a tank destroyer equipped with a 55 caliber 12.8 cm tank gun, which was developed in 1943.
- It was a tank destroyer that shared parts with the Tiger II tank that was being developed in parallel, and had a large fixed battle compartment for a 12.8cm gun on a body that was about 26cm longer.
- Mockup completed in October 1943.
- The first production model was completed in February 1944.
-The engine is equipped with a Maybach V-type 12-cylinder gasoline engine in the rear.
- The undercarriage had the same torsion bar suspension as the Tiger II tank.
- The body had strong armor of 250mm on the front and 80mm on the sides, and the power of the 12.8cm cannon added to it, and it fought bravely against the Allied Forces.
- After completion, it was assigned to the 653rd Independent Heavy Tank Destroyer Battalion and the 512th Independent Heavy Tank Battalion, and was active in the Battle of the Ardennes and the Battle of the Remagen Bridge.
