- The F4U Corsair is a reciprocating single-engine, single-seat fighter developed by the American company Chance Vought and used by the US Navy and Marines in World War II and the Korean War.
- The F4U-1A is a type with a raised cockpit position of 178mm to improve forward visibility and a bubble-shaped canopy with fewer frames, while the F4U-2 is a night fighter type equipped with an on-board interceptor radome.
