-Although it had the subname of `Stingray (= Stingray)`, it was characterized by a unique form reminiscent of fish.
- The engine became more powerful, the suspension was modernized, and the power performance improved dramatically.
- GM's engineer Zora Arcus Dantoff, who is also said to be the parent of the Corvette, was able to show his skills there, and he secretly started a race plan using the second generation Corvette.
