-The Catalina was introduced in 1950 by the Pontiac brand of General Motors, an American automaker, and was sold until 1981.
- The first model of the second generation was a 1961 model and was produced until 1964.
- It was a full-size car with a wheelbase of 119 inches and had a 2-door hardtop, a convertible, a sedan, a 4-door hardtop, a sedan, and a station wagon body.
-The engine was based on a 6.4-liter V8, and from the latter half of 1961, a 6.9-liter type was also available as a dealer option.
