[About the actual vehicle]
- The Panzer III was deployed in 1937 and served as one of the German army's main battle tanks throughout World War II, with continued improvements.
- Among the many types that have appeared, the N type is based on the J, L, and M types and is equipped with a short barrel 7.5cm gun.
- In addition to 663 cars produced from June 1942 to August 1943, 37 cars were converted to N type based on cars that were returned for repairs until 1944.

- The Panzer IV, which was originally scheduled to be equipped with this main gun, ended up being equipped with a long-barreled KwK40, and as a result it was equipped with a surplus 7.5cm KwK37L/24 gun.
