[Actual Guide]
- The C20 type was introduced in 1971 as the first 12-foot container for the Japanese National Railways and played an active role as a representative container for the Japanese National Railways.
- The C95 type container is a simple refrigerated container developed by the Japanese National Railways based on the C21 type container, and was introduced in 1978.
- Both types were taken over by JR Freight after the privatization of the Japanese National Railways, but were retired with the introduction of successor containers such as the 18D type.
