[About the prototype]
- The Taki 5450 is a 25-ton tank freight car manufactured for a long period from 1964 to 1994, exclusively for transporting chlorine. The tank steel of the predecessor Taki 5450 was changed to make it lighter, and it was mass-produced with 697 cars, which played a major role in transporting liquefied chlorine. Due to the long manufacturing period and the detailed specifications of the manufacturers and the cars owned, there are many variations, and the average number of cars produced in the same style is 2.7, so the model was based on the later model of the Hitachi type.
