- ArmaHobby of Poland is pleased to announce their new product, the 1/48 Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb Trop.
- The Mk.II was fitted with a more powerful Merlin XX engine, which resulted in a nose that was approximately 114mm longer than the Mk.I, and a larger radiator.
- Armament consists of 12 x .303 caliber machine guns.
- Aircraft used in the North African and Burmese fronts were fitted with improved filters and cooling systems, and were painted to resist fading in strong sunlight, earning them the nickname Trop (for tropical use).
