- This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Giulia 1600 Spider, a 1.6 liter spider added in 1962.

[About the actual car]
- The Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo unveiled the Giulietta Spider, a two-seater open sports model, at the 1955 Paris Salon.
- The car was developed based on the Giulietta, an attractive coupé that had been unveiled at the Turin Show the previous year in 1954.
- The glamorous open-top Giulietta Spider was a huge success, and in 1962 the Giulia 1600 Spider, equipped with a larger 1570cc engine, was added to the range.
- The Pininfarina design was not deviated from too far, and the engine was a 1.6-liter twin-cam four-cylinder, producing 92 horsepower and a top speed of 109 mph.
- With the installation of a 1.6-liter engine, which is taller than the 1.3-liter, the engine hood has been inflated and an air scoop has been designed.
- Other than that, there were no major changes, and Pininfarina's attractive design was retained, and the car was produced until 1964.
