- This is the Honda NSX-R (NA1) 1992 Headlamp Open, a 1/43 scale handmade model car by EIDOLON.
- This model is a faithful reproduction of the sports grade [NSX-R (NA1)] of the [Honda NSX (NA1)], which was released in 1990 and is still very popular today.
- This time, the distinctive retractable headlights can be seen in the open position.
- This time, the motif is the Type R, which is particularly popular among NSX models, and was produced in the 3.0 liter era (NA1), with approximately 480 units produced from 1992 to 1994.
- There are only minor differences in appearance between the Type R and the standard car, but the mesh-type engine maintenance lid that can be seen through the rear window, the F15-inch and R16-inch wheels that were fitted to the early NSX Type R, and more are thoroughly reproduced.
- The mesh parts are made of etching and the wheels are made of white metal, and by using the appropriate materials, we have taken great care to increase the resolution of the model.
- The highlight of this release is that it recreates the retractable headlights, a feature of the NA1 and early NA2 models, when open.
- The NSX's retractable headlights use projector-type bulbs, and we aimed to recreate the eyes as realistically as possible, with the housing shape, lens surface, and other parts configuration of the actual car.
