- Deployed in the Battle of Kursk, the largest tank battle in history, which began in July of the same year.
- Later, improvements were made to the Ausf. A and then the Ausf. G, which earned a reputation as the best German tank.
- As it is a masterpiece tank, many different variations of the tank have been produced.
- They were not only produced in factories, but also as makeshift vehicles on the battlefield.
- The 653rd Heavy Tank Battalion's anti-aircraft tank was one of these, and was equipped with a 2cm quadruple Flak 38, known as a masterpiece anti-aircraft machine gun, on a Panther D chassis.
- It was built and used on the Eastern Front during the Battle of Kursk.

- The vehicle's distinctive design, featuring sloped armor, is faithfully reproduced.
