[About the actual car]
- During World War II, the German army placed great importance on mobility and developed a number of wheeled armored vehicles, one of which was the Sd.Kfz.234.
- Designed to be able to travel on rough roads, the vehicle featured an elaborate mechanism of eight-wheel drive, eight-wheel independent suspension, and eight-wheel steering.
- The engine was a V12 air-cooled diesel engine, giving it a maximum speed of 80km/h.
- The vehicle had excellent running performance and was produced in a variety of variations.
- One of these vehicles is an open-top vehicle equipped with the KwK.38, a 2cm anti-aircraft gun modified from the Flak38 for use on armored cars and other vehicles.
- It is said that about 2,300 of the 8-wheeled heavy armored car Sd.Kfz.234 were produced in total.

[About the model]
- This model is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces in 1/35 scale the Sd.Kfz.234/3, a variation of the Sd.Kfz.234, a unique armored reconnaissance vehicle of the German army in World War II, equipped with a 2cm KwK.38.
- This kit includes metal vehicle width poles, etched parts, and four German soldier figures.
- The vehicle's eight tires, each of which is characterized by its styling, are made up of six cut-up pieces, and the tread pattern is accurately reproduced. Two types of tread patterns are included.
- In addition, the underside of the chassis features an ingeniously designed drive shaft and tie rod parts configuration, allowing the modeler to assemble all eight wheels with the steering turned in any direction of their choice.
