[About the actual car]
When German troops invaded the Soviet Union during World War II, they were hampered by the vast Russian land, which turned into an ugly quagmire in bad weather and froze in the winter.
With their mobility severely reduced, the German army rushed to develop vehicles that could run on both muddy and snowy roads.
This led to the development of the Steyr tracked tractor.
The vehicle, called RSO, which is the German acronym for Eastern tracked tractor, began mass production in November 1942.
It was used to transport materials and tow anti-tank guns.
Its maneuverability and reliability quickly earned it a reputation for high performance, and approximately 23,000 units were produced.
The RSO has a driver's seat and a cargo bed, and several variations of this vehicle were developed.
Self-propelled guns were also developed and used extensively.

[About the kit]
This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the RSO, a tracked tractor deployed by the German army during World War II.
Among them, it models the standard type Steyr 470 RSO/01.
The rounded cabin and cargo bed are precisely reproduced.
The distinctive style gives the model plenty of individuality.
The kit not only accurately models the exterior, but also the engine, suspension, and other mechanisms.

In addition to the intricate suspension detail, the tracks feature realistic, buildable Magic Tracks.
