Build a commemorative painted aircraft in the easy-to-use 1/144 scale
This is a set of two 1/144 scale plastic model assembly kits that reproduce two specially painted F-2A aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force commemorating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the JASDF and the 70th anniversary of the opening of Tsukigata Air Base.

[About the actual machine]
The F-2 fighter jet has been in operation since 2000 and serves as the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's main fighter jet.
Development began in 1988 as a successor to the F-1 support fighter.
Development work was carried out jointly by Japan and the United States, based on the American F-16 and taking into consideration its use as a Self-Defense Force aircraft and Japan's geographical factors.
The wing area has been increased to improve maneuverability, and advanced materials and structure have been used to reduce weight, and other elements and necessary performance have been added to each part as part of a Self-Defense Force aircraft, making it a unique aircraft tailored to Japanese circumstances.
In addition to being able to carry and operate long-range air-to-ship missiles and ASMs, it can also operate air-to-air radar missiles and air-to-air infrared missiles.
Its capabilities are being demonstrated in the air defense missions of Japan's skies.

[About the model]
This is a 1/144 scale assembly kit that reproduces the F-2A, a fighter jet of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force that began operation in 2000.
It is a model of the specially painted aircraft that was unveiled in September 2024 and exhibited at the Tsuiki Air Base Air Show held in November.
The parts are made by E-Toys and are easy to assemble, and this is a two-plane set kit containing parts for two aircraft.
The model accurately reproduces not only the blended wing shape of the aircraft but also the panel lines.
The finished overall length is approximately 100mm and the wingspan is approximately 70mm.
The markings represent the special paint job applied to aircraft belonging to the 6th Squadron at Tsuiki Air Base to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and the 70th anniversary of the opening of Tsuiki Air Base in 2024.
The special paintwork applied to No. 536 and No. 538 is faithfully reproduced using Cartograf decals.
