The "Figure Plates" series challenges various designs and patterns using printing and painting techniques. The seventh edition is a lacquer plate with a classic maki-e style, which is used as a decorative plate.

The large plate is made of glossy lacquer with a carp and ground cherries design. The ground cherries are also reproduced in their withered state, with only the veins remaining, called "openwork ground cherries"!
The small plate has a semi-matte sheen and a pine, bamboo, and plum design.
The miniature size fits in the palm of your hand, making it a great companion for figure play! You can also display it as an interior decoration!
