From the soft vinyl series "Sakai Yuji Sculpting Collection", sculpted and produced by Yuji Sakai, Godzilla (2001) from "Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack", released in 2001, is being re-released!
In [Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack], Godzilla shocked Godzilla fans with his white-eyed design, which was a departure from the image of Godzilla that had come before.
Recreated by Yuji Sakai in a pose reminiscent of the original Godzilla.
The motif for the pose was based on a still photograph that he liked, and he had always wanted to make it. The color of Godzilla's body is based on the color of the actual costume, in brown tones. This ambitious work, full of his thoughts, has been made into a soft vinyl figure!
His cast prototype was converted into wax and a master mold was created.
The products are made using materials molded solely from the master mold, minimizing wear and tear caused by turning them into soft vinyl and focusing on reproducing detail as much as possible.
The painting was supervised by Mr. Ito and was reproduced using techniques that are effective when made into soft vinyl.
