-- Introducing the Taki 1000 series with car number and Cosmo Oil mark printed on it!

[Actual vehicle guide]
The Taki 1000 series is a tank car that was introduced in 1993 to increase the speed of oil transport trains. It is equipped with FT21 bogies based on the FT1 bogies of the Koki 100 series, and can run at a maximum speed of 95 km/h.
Used in the Kanto, Tohoku and Chubu regions as the main type of gasoline tank car.
From 2024, the Cosmo Oil logo will be on some of the carriages, and these carriages will mainly be attached to trains travelling from Hamagoi Station on the Keiyo Rinkai Railway to the Kanto, Shinshu and Tohoku regions.
