[About the actual car]
One of America's leading truck manufacturers is Peterbilt, a long-established manufacturer founded on the West Coast in 1939.
The Model 359 was introduced by Peterbilt in 1967 and became a best-selling model.
The Model 359 gained popularity upon its release and became the foundation for the Model 379, which would later become Peterbilt's iconic model.
The Model 359, which has a typical bonnet-type style, continued to be produced until 1987 when the Model 379 was released, with slight changes to the front grille design and headlight shape.
In addition to the trailer head, a tow truck version equipped with a crane at the rear has also been produced and is in active use.
