I've finally found what seemed odd in this kit! That's not Metabee at all, that's Metal Beetle, the original KBT type Medabot who appear in the first game of Medarot! that's why there is some yellow parts in the black cylinders in his back (and other differencies). He can easily be turned into a Metabee with some paints though (exept for the medal). Very interresting !

EZ-049 Berserk Fuhrer (Plastic model)

It looks really great! But I feel that it looks a little too thin. Don't get me wrong I love this, this is my all time favorite Zoid but he seems...skinny. Not really digging on the whole claw gimmick on his tail it feels unneeded. And he looks like he would be smaller than the other tyranno zoids like Genobreaker and Genosaurer. But I'm still reserving one of these bad boys ^^

This 1/144 scale model is a rather small kit. The finished model is even smaller than
XN Raiser. If you're familiar with Bandai and Hasegawa type of quality, this Platz kit may disappoint you a bit. The plastic is rather soft as compared with the usual mainstream plastic kit.

Kotobukiya manuals come in Nihon-Eigo as in Japanglish pretty much don't worry
about it. And the details you have to paint are so minor you may not even care to do
them.

@Johnboil: All kotobukiya models come with small unpainted details that you have the option of painting yourself, the instruction books come with a color guide showing you what to paint and in what color. But they still look awesome either way.

Panzer is my favorite. It's so aggressive-looking.

great kit, surprisingly very easy to build, you will need a set of small drills for some holes, but this model should not be missed, and it stands up very well balanced. a joy to build. instructions a bit weird, pictures of parts on left and right put together then completed in the middle can be confusing...made within two weeks

P.K.A. Ausf K-4 Ketzer (Plastic model)

this ketzer model i reported to be GLADE i brought it, but to build, not good at all (the body does not go together very easily) i had to remove one of the fixing pins inside and the hole where the arm fits catches the body when trying to put it together. and the figure seems to sit to high up in the cockpit area, otherwise its a nice model (as for grober hund EASY to build, you will need some small drills for the holes)

Armored Core Weapon Unit 018 (Plastic model)

The OIGAMI is an impressive peripheral for the AC kits. The gun fully extended is roughly 16 inches long! I will say though that it will look comically huge on the smaller AC's. Also the pegs that attach it to the back are barely able to balance the weight of the gun on the back. I recommend for the bigger tank types like GA-Sunshine and some of the older larger AC's.

A.F.S.C.D. Type Polar Bear (Plastic model)

a nice variation of the A.F.S. kits, i did copy the box artwork but i didnt like the outcome of my model so changed the paint job.
the guy's head inside looks very like a famous UK racing F1 driver.
these are a bit taller than the original A.F.S. kits (if you use the jointed top half legs in the original kits) and the arms dont bend as far on these either and lack the tubing like the originals do. BUT wave have again made these models very easy to build.

very much the same as the S.A.F.S. kit very easy and quick to build, compaided to the originals,the working lid (open's and closes) makes these better models, nice transfers to.

much easier to build than original boxed versions and can be built within a 5 day week, these new updated one's are definatly the better of the originals for ease of building and the lid actually works (open's and closes) so thats extra + points the only down side is you dont get the wiring bits like the old originals (behind the boots) its a DIY job the S.A.F.E. is definatly the best revamped / updated version of all the originals and makes conversion's easier to. A JOY TO BUILD

this original model i found this model Amazing and very surprisingly easy to build, when i looked over the instructions and parts it's one of those models you'll leave till you have more spare time (like a whole day) but it was a real joy to build. (i did knock off / brake the side light when painting it, but once drilled out and using wire made it stronger), the original boxed space version not so easy.

this model KETZER is a variation and simularity of the DORA made from a GUSTAV kit, i was'nt going to buy it firstly as i have made the latter (DORA / GUSTAV) kit, but in the end gave in to temptation and brought it (apon opening the box) i'm GLADE i DID its a really nice and VERY detailed kit worth buying. don't miss out on it.
it so has to go with your collection of other SF3D's.

If you compare the drawings and in-game screenshots, this version of Zero is quite accurate. I don't see anything wrong with the size of the head (rather the chest piece should be smaller). Also, people whining about missing colors... If they can't do simple touch-ups on model kits themselves (=lazy), then better just stick to action figures. The only complains are probably the lack of various weapons and can't do dramatic poses (watch out for his sholder joints)

For those who think it's just re-release with color changed...you are wrong.This version has been modified it's mechanism at it's head and tail,that make it has better pose in the Charge Particle Cannon posotion.And this version has extra pieces,too.The claw extender part.The pre-painted Raven(Both standing & sitting).And the pre-painted Shadow(Raven's organoid).

I built this kit and the head is bigger than the D-Arts X's head. The resin kit's parts are too small to adapt except for the coil. Recoil rods would been nice to have . X to Zero:
What in the hec happened to your head? Zero to X: I think it's the copy body.

Destroid Defender only has a pair of anti-air cannon on each arm as its weapon, this makes the kit less interesting than Destroid Tomahawk. Although this kit includes a movable sensor unit at the centre of the chest, it does not make the kit more fun to play with. In fact, even the old Arii kit (now Bandai) has a transparent part as a "window" for the sensor unit; the lack of this part disappoints me. After all, this only makes the kit more challenging and fun to build.

I sense a flaw in this already...
Although the proportion is extremely nice (compared to the Revoltech one), it lacks articulation. Revoltech provides extreme and amazing articulation that makes it much more interesting. It also costs 20 to 30 bucks less.
Also, it seems like the blue streaks on Jehuty will have to be inked on (self panel line).
To those who won't be panel lining, this is not a good model. It's going to look extremely bland if you don't add those blues.
