-This is a new mold kit 1/350 USS Albacore from Ukrainian micro mill.

-Albacore was a US Navy submarine that was laid down in 1952 at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and launched in 1953.
-It is an experimental submarine that pioneered the teardrop-type hull.
-The ship's name is related to the bluefin tuna, the third ship with that name.
-Its design is heavily influenced by German XXI U-boats.
-Albacore has been active as an experimental submarine for more than 20 years, making significant contributions to the collection of theoretical and practical data on fluid mechanics and helping later design of nuclear submarines.
-Retired in 1972 and now on display at Albacore Park in Portsmouth.
-The kit reproduces the Albacore since 1962 equipped with an X-type rear rudder and counter-rotating screw.
-Etched parts and decals are included in the kit. When completed, the total length is about 177mm.
