[About the actual car]
During World War II, Germany was developing the Tiger I heavy tank, but was also planning to develop a vehicle with even greater offensive power.
Based on this plan, the German company Porsche developed the VK.45.02(P)V tank.
It featured a hybrid system that combined a gasoline engine and an electric motor.
Unfortunately, Porsche's proposal lost the competition to Henschel and never saw the light of day, but the turret that had been produced in advance was combined with the Henschel-designed body and used as the King Tiger Porsche turret type.
With its sloped armored front, this vehicle can be said to be the basis for the King Tiger.

[About the model]
This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the German World War II planned tank, the VK.45.02(P)V.
This luxurious kit features pre-assembled Magic Tracks for the tracks, aluminum parts for the barrel, and a 3D printed muzzle brake.
The lower part of the vehicle is reproduced as a single piece using a slide mold, and even the details on the underside are accurately represented.
In addition, the unique structure of the suspension unit is also accurately reproduced.
The upper part of the vehicle is also faithfully modeled after the distinctive rear-engine design with the turret located at the front of the vehicle. The grill parts on the engine deck at the rear of the vehicle are made with etched parts for a sharp finish.
The turret, which was also used in the Porsche turret for the King Tiger, features aluminum parts for the barrel.
The muzzle brake is fitted with a 3D printed part.
