[Preparation method for 3D printed products]
- Masomodel's 3D printed products contain wax (support material) which is unavoidable due to the manufacturing process of current 3D printed products.
- Before assembly, lightly rub the surfaces of the parts with a brush dipped in lacquer thinner. The wax is clear and oil-like and is easily removed.
- 3D printed products are a collection of very thin layers. There may be slight layer marks on the surface. If you are concerned about them, lightly trace them with 600-grit sandpaper. Then, smooth the surface with 1000-grit sandpaper and the marks will become almost unnoticeable.
- 3D resin is not sticky like plastic, so please handle it with care and gentleness.
- After this, you can apply primer and paint it just like a normal plastic model.
