--The FJ-3 Fury is an F-86 carrier-based aircraft type, and the FJ-2 can be equipped with air-to-air missiles by replacing the engine with the more powerful J65-W-4 in order to cope with the weight increase due to the carrier-based aircraft equipment. 538 aircraft were produced in this model.
