--Night trains are night trains that were operated all over the country until the 1980s, the end of the JNR era.
――Some of the trains were nicknamed even ordinary trains, which were a mixture of luggage cars, postal cars, sleeping cars, and coaches.
--The Suha 45 and Suhafu 44 types that come with this set are manufactured for Hokkaido, and the cold-resistant structure has been strengthened based on the Suha 43 and Suhafu 42 types. The feature of the actual vehicle is that the axle generator is a gear drive type.
――The night train [Karamatsu], which is an example of the formation, was a train that had been operating between Otaru and Kushiro via Takikawa since 1974, and was active until the timetable revision in October 1980, which was absorbed by the express hunting victory.

――By inserting the ordinary seat car Suha 45 (adding the parts attached to this set to Suha 43 and assembling as Suha 45 for Hokkaido) and the luggage car / postal car into the 6-car train that assembled this set straight, in the past year [Karamatsu] can be reproduced.
--Karamatsu, which connects Otaru and Kushiro around Takikawa (the Sekisho Line was not opened at that time), the ordinary 423/424 train started connecting sleepers in 1956, and the Mars system in 1974. With the introduction, a nickname is required when issuing a sleeper ticket, so we decided to call ourselves [Karamatsu].
――It was a rare ordinary train with a sleeper that got a nickname, but it was abolished in 1980, six years later.
