- The popular Republic P-43 Lancer from Ukrainian Drawings is now available in 1/72 scale reconnaissance version.
- The P-43 is an aircraft that can be said to be the prototype of the P-47 Thunderbolt, and the prototype AP-4 was originally developed as an advanced version of the P-35. It became a high-altitude fighter with main landing gear and a turbocharger in the lower fuselage.
- The 1200hp R-1830 air-cooled radial 14-cylinder engine recorded a maximum speed of 565km/h in flight tests, making it the first U.S. military fighter to exceed 500km/h.
- In 1942, it was able to climb over 10,000 meters, photographing the summit of Mount Everest from an altitude of 13,000 meters.
- Until the advent of the P-38, the P-43 was the only Allied aircraft capable of intercepting a Japanese command reconnaissance aircraft.
- The kit comes with photo-etched parts, paint mask stickers and 4 types of decals (2 x Australian Air Force, 1 x US Army Air Force, 1 x ROC Air Force).
- When completed, it will be approximately 121mm in length and 152mm in width.
