── Goodbye cobalt blue band! The last new Hokuriku color 413 series!

- With the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen extension on March 14, 2015, the parallel conventional line section (from Ichiburi to Kurikara) in Toyama Prefecture was transferred to Toyama Prefecture and opened as Ainokaze Toyama Railway.
- Mainly owned vehicles are 521 series and 413 series transferred from JR West.
-The 413 series has been popular for more than 30 years with a refreshing [New Hokuriku color] paint that has a cobalt blue body belt on an oyster white background since around 1988 after the division and privatization of JNR, but since around 2010. -The shift to blue [Hokuriku region color] is progressing, and when the Ainokaze Toyama Railway was launched, vehicles with both colors were transferred.
-Since then, operation has continued in the form of inheriting the painting at the time of transfer, but the [AM02] formation wearing the final New Hokuriku color will be retired in May 2022, and upon retirement, the Hokuriku region color [ AM05] The 6-car train connected to the train set was called Toyama-Uozu-Takaoka-Toyama, where the farewell driving was performed and the final runway was decorated.
- The [AM05] formation will no longer be in regular operation after the spring of 2023, but as of August 2023, it can occasionally be seen playing an active role as a substitute runner during vehicle inspections.
