- The Izu Hakone Railway 7000 series is a vehicle manufactured from 1991 (Heisei 3) to 1992 (Heisei 4) for rapid trains on the Sunzu Line.
- It has a unique configuration in which the lead car has 3 doors on each side and the middle car has 2 doors on each side, and during rapid operation, the 2-door middle car was used as a reserved seat car.
- This type is the first time that side curtains have been adopted on an Izu-Hakone Railway vehicle.
