- The Type 38 flamethrower tank is a flamethrower type that was developed for use in [Operation Line Defense] in December 1944.
- Main guns and other equipment were removed from 20 Hetzers, and 700 liter fuel tanks and radiators were installed.
- When it was organized into the 352nd and 353rd Armored Flamethrower Squadrons, it was put into action in January 1945 in [Operation Nordwind (North Wind)].
- There were two other tanks that were modified from recovered Type 38 tanks and became equipment for the Czech army after the war.
