- The LT-40 was originally designed by Czechoslovakian ČKD for Lithuania before the war.
- This is a manufactured light tank. This vehicle, like the LTL-H, is said to be a [sister tank] of the 38(t) tank.
- Since Lithuania was occupied by the Soviet Union in 1940, several unarmed chassis were transferred to Slovakia by Germany, and machine guns were installed locally.
- The LT-40 was used on the Eastern Front and later by anti-Nazi forces during the Slovak uprising.
- Several units were also captured by the German army and used to resist the Soviet army.
- Kit includes photo-etched parts, metal gun barrel and two types of decals: Slovak Army 1944 and Red Army Spring 1945
