Product Description

This kit reproduces the nose art painted by VF-41 Black Aces, who operated F-14As from the aircraft carrier CVN-71 Theodore Roosevelt during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

-Reproduces the late A-type model, which is equipped with a TV camera in the nose chin pod and has ECM antennas added to the wing gloves and rear beavertail.
- The F-14's characteristic swing-wing can be assembled in either forward or reverse orientation. Additionally, the wing glove sealing plates and fuselage airbags can also be assembled in either forward or reverse orientation.
-When the main wings are forward, the leading edge slats and flaps can be lowered and the spoilers can be raised.
- The nose landing gear can be displayed in either normal or retracted state, while the radome, boarding steps, intake interior lamp, and air brakes can be displayed open or closed. The refueling probe can also be displayed in either deployed or retracted state.
- Two types of ventral fins are included, one with the rear tow bar lowered and one raised.
-Etched parts such as face curtain handles are included
