- Sunpu Castle is a castle built by Lord Tokugawa Ieyasu in Aoi Ward, Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
- The castle was built three times, first in the Tensho period at the end of the Sengoku period, and second time in the Keicho I period (1607) at the beginning of the Edo period, and the castle tower was burnt down shortly after its completion.
- The third time was rebuilt in the Keicho II period (1610).
- The late watchtower type castle tower has five floors and seven floors.
- He ordered daimyo from all over the country to build a castle using the finest building materials and skilled craftsmen.
- It stands in the center of the castle tower, the largest in the history of castles, 68m high at the lower end of the west side, and its majestic appearance makes it a castle that truly represents Japan.
- Until Ieyasu's death at Sunpu Castle, Sunpu flourished as a political and economic center on a par with Edo.

- This kit is based on the research materials of the Keicho II period castle tower, and its mysterious appearance is modeled with our own design (1/150 scale).
- The beautiful exterior of Sunpu Castle, such as the Karahafu and gable decorations, are recreated in wood, and the shachihoko and the fake jewels on the railing are made in metal. The stone wall of the huge castle tower is made of natural wood (from the ancient times of the gods).
