[Product Introduction]
The first 101 series was introduced in 1969 to coincide with the opening of the Seibu Chichibu Line, as a vehicle with high power and braking performance for running on mountainous routes.
A total of 278 cars were manufactured, and when they were first introduced they were non-air-conditioned 4-car formations, but they were later fitted with air conditioning and some formations became 6-car through formations.
This model was widely used on all Seibu lines except for the Seibu Yurakucho Line and Yamaguchi Line, and was a central model for Seibu Railway, operating in formations of up to 10 cars. However, it was retired in 2010 and is currently preserved at Yokose Depot.
Introducing the 101 series, which supported passenger transport on the Seibu Chichibu Line, which is celebrating its 55th anniversary since its opening.
The warm grey around the side windows has been removed and the six-car train will be produced in a single yellow colour.
You can enjoy the scenery of the old Seibu lines together with the 10-1359 Seibu Railway 5000 Series <Red Arrow> and 10-431 Seibu E851 Cement Train, which are scheduled for release at the same time.

[Product Features]
The early 201 train, which was newly manufactured with 6 cars and equipped with a centralized air conditioner, is now available as a product.
Reproduces the appearance from the late 1990s onwards, when the warm grey around the side windows was abolished and replaced with a single yellow colour
Accurately reproduces the stainless steel parts of the front decorative plate, passenger door, front handrail, and aluminum sash window.
The side glass, sash parts and passenger door frame are reproduced in silver, and the H-rubber of the door pocket window is reproduced in black.
All cars are equipped with centralized air conditioners, reproduced in silver.
The leading car has head/tail lights and front destination display lit. The headlights are in a warm white color, and the front destination display is in a white color. (With a switch to turn off the lights)
The front end is equipped with a dummy coupler as standard. A KATO close-coupled coupler (without jumper tube) is included for coupling the front cars together. The intermediate coupling section is equipped with a close-coupled KATO coupler as standard.
The destination display on the front is plain white. Destination display sticker included
