Product Description

The Japanese Navy destroyer Yukikaze was commissioned in 1940.
When the Pacific War broke out the following year, he was busy both east and west, taking part in numerous operations and naval battles.
While other ships of the same class were sunk one after another, Yukikaze suffered no major damage and survived the Battle of Cape Boso (a surface kamikaze attack by the battleship Yamato) at the end of the war, and is therefore known as the "lucky ship."
This destroyer has many anecdotes about it, such as being used for demobilization work after the war and then being handed over to the Republic of China Navy for use.

We have carefully selected and assembled the parts necessary to recreate Yukikaze's appearance after the Battle of Leyte Gulf in 1944.
