Product Description

This was one of the Japanese Army's combat vehicles during World War II, and was adopted by the military as a vehicle capable of fighting enemy tanks using anti-tank shaped charge shells.
Its structure was based on the chassis of a Type 1/Type 3 medium tank, and was equipped with a Type 99 7.5 cm (7.5 cm) tank gun modified from the Type 41 mountain gun.
Mass production began in 1944, with around 30 vehicles produced and deployed to units within mainland Japan.
The tracks are made of plastic and can be assembled using adhesive, allowing for realistic reproduction of sagging.
The breech of the main gun is also reproduced.
Includes a female student figure of the same scale.
The accompanying explanatory booklet explains not only the actual vehicle but also the Army's shaped charge shells.
